Articles of agreement

THE CODE OF
THE BOARD.

Short, fair, and ruthlessly simple. Every captain plays by the same three articles — read them before you spend a dollar.

I

How ranking works

  1. I.1

The board sorts by bid, highest first. Nothing else matters — not age, not clicks, not vibes.

  2. I.2

New listings board between $1 and $999,999, in whole-dollar steps.

  3. I.3

To take any rank, bid at least $1 more than its current holder. Yes, that includes #1. Yes, that includes stealing #3 on your first day aboard.

  4. I.4

Raising your own listing costs only the difference between your old and new bid, minimum $1.

  5. I.5

Ties break in favor of whoever bid first. Speed is a virtue.

II

What may board

  1. II.1

Product sites, projects, blogs, portfolios — any honest URL — and X handles (@you).

  2. II.2

Platform links (GitHub, App Store, and friends) are tracked by their path, so github.com/you and github.com/rival are different flags.

  3. II.3

Query parameters and fragments are stripped. Your ?utm_source stays on shore.

  4. II.4

Not welcome: chat or messaging invite links, sexual or NSFW content, scams, malware. The captain removes offenders without refund.

III

After payment

  1. III.1

Payment confirmed = rank claimed. The board updates instantly for everyone watching.

  2. III.2

Your logo, title and description are pulled from your page's metadata. Clicks on your flag sail straight to your URL.

  3. III.3

Getting outbid is not a bug and not refundable. Your money bought the time you spent on top — the ledger keeps every raid on record.

  4. III.4

Payments are processed in US dollars by Dodo Payments, our merchant of record. We never see or store your card details.
