CaptainBid ("we", "us") is operated by Sowra Sai E Retail, Bangalore, India, 31, 7th Cross, Kempapura, Hebbal, Bangalore, India. The service is the website at captainbid.lol.

By placing a bid you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not bid.

You are buying a position on a public leaderboard. Rank is decided by bid amount alone, highest first, with earlier bids winning ties.

You are not buying advertising placement, guaranteed traffic, a guaranteed duration at a rank, or any promise of clicks, customers or results.

The mechanics are the same for everyone:

• A new listing starts at $1 and cannot exceed $999,999. Bids are whole dollars.
• To take a rank you must bid at least $1 more than the listing that currently holds it.
• Raising your own listing charges only the difference between your old and new bid.
• Your rank changes whenever anyone else pays more. That can happen minutes after you bid.
• A bid takes effect only once payment is confirmed by our payment provider.

You may list a website or an X handle that you own or are authorised to promote. Query strings are stripped from submitted links; the path is kept.

You may not list, and we may remove without notice or refund:

• Chat or messaging invite links.
• Sexual, pornographic or otherwise NSFW material.
• Malware, phishing, scams, or anything designed to deceive or defraud.
• Content that is illegal where you or we operate, or that infringes someone else's rights.
• Impersonation of a person, brand or organisation you do not represent.

We may remove a listing, refuse a bid, or suspend the board where we reasonably believe these terms have been broken, where a payment is disputed or fraudulent, or where we are required to by law.

We may change the site, its features or its pricing at any time. We may take the site offline for maintenance or permanently.

Prices are shown and charged in US dollars. Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, who act as the merchant of record and appear on your statement; we never receive or store your card or bank details.

Your bank or card issuer may apply currency conversion or foreign transaction fees. Those are between you and them.

Being outbid is the normal working of the service and is not a fault. Our refund position is set out in full in the Refunds & Cancellation policy.

The service is provided "as is". We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any listing will produce any particular outcome.

To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim connected with the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits, lost business or lost goodwill.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for fraud.

The board is made of links to other people's sites. We do not control them, do not endorse them, and are not responsible for their content or their conduct. Follow them at your own judgement.

We may update these terms; the date at the top of this page shows when. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
